"I have never considered the fact that donkey milk could be so beneficial for your skin, but it definitely is! According to their website, raw donkey milk is rich in ceramides, proteins, phospholipids (fatty acids), vitamins, minerals, & omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. All of which are known to hydrate dry skin, regenerate & reduce wrinkles.

Dulce De Donke came about because their young daughter developed an autoimmune disease and would need antibiotics every day for several years, but they didn’t want to accept that as their only option for treatment. So instead, they did their research and discovered that donkey milk had amazing health benefits and could help their daughter regain her health! They invested in several donkeys and use the very rare milk for their daughter and then make their products from whatever was leftover.
The Activated Charcoal Soap is the first product I’ve tried, and from what I can tell it won’t be the last! It contains other ingredients such as organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic lavender, and organic clove essential oils, which are rich in vitamins and contain anti-fungal properties. The milk bar retails for $9 and would pair really well with their Cleopatra’s Skin Cream."

Jessica Anderson, writer of the beauty blog Seek and Sparkle, wrote this review of our organic donkey milk skin care after trying our products.

"...So what exactly is it that makes donkey milk such a powerhouse? First of all, donkey milk is compositionally different than traditional cow’s milk. It is the only substance that is closest to the composition of human breast milk in PH level as well as nutritional content. It contains high levels of vitamin C,  proteins, minerals, and essential fatty acids. According to the National Center for Biotechnology Information, “From an immunological point of view, donkey’s milk is able to induce release of inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines from normal human peripheral blood lymphomononuclear cells, thus maintaining a condition of immune homeostasis.” In layman’s terms, it is an incredible anti-inflammatory making it ideal for calming and soothing irritated skin as well as inflammation in the body. It has also been shown to enhance the immune system and is particularly ideal for those who suffer from conditions such as asthma, psoriasis, and eczema.

So all of that sounds great, but where in the world do you actually find donkey milk? Many companies sell products claiming donkey milk as a key ingredient, but it’s extremely important to ensure the products are high quality.

I’d like to introduce you to a company called Dulce De Donke. Not only is the name intriguing, but so is their story and their products. The company was formed in the most unusual of ways when the family’s six-year-old daughter developed an autoimmune disease that attacked her brain due to a case of strep throat. The family was forced to make a decision, put their young daughter on daily antibiotics for the next 13 years, or find an alternate route. After countless prayers and tears, an answer was presented to them and it was one that was certainly unexpected. The answer was donkey milk. The family, desperate to help their precious child, bought three American Mammoth Donkeys. Little did they know at the time, that was only the beginning of their journey. After their daughter began to regain her health they were intrigued and amazed at the unexpected medicinal benefits of donkey milk. If it had the power to restore their daughter’s health, they began to wonder what other healing properties it could have. From their serendipitous discovery, Dulce De Donke was born.

The company specializes in soaps and moisturizers made with all organic ingredients and, you guessed it, donkey milk. They offer a variety of soaps for different skin care needs and all of the fragrances are derived from organic essential oils.

My absolute favorite is the Rosemary Mint Donkey Milk Bar soap that features raw donkey milk, organic olive and coconut oil, ground rosemary, and organic peppermint essential oil. Not only does it smell fresh, crisp, and clean but also offers many benefits for the skin. It moisturizes while regenerating and reducing wrinkles. It can be used as an energizer in your morning shower because of its invigorating scent.

Dulce De Donke also offers an incredibly powerful moisturizer that lives up to its name and is sure to not disappoint. Better Than Botox Donkey Milk Moisturizer (a.k.a Cleopatra’s skin cream) is a true powerhouse chalked full of organic oils, butters, and raw donkey milk. It can be used on the face, neck, hands, even on chapped lips! I was absolutely amazed when I saw the fine lines on my forehead begin to gradually decrease after only one week of use. It feels thick and creamy when applied but dries with a light, non-greasy finish. I’m not sure how I ever lived without this moisturizer but I know I never want to let the jar run empty!

No matter what your skin type or specific needs might be, there is truly something in it for everyone! Adding products containing raw donkey milk into your beauty routine can help you achieve a healthy, bright, and radiant complexion and can virtually cure any current skin issues that you may have. Curious about how donkey milk skin care products could benefit you? Check out Dulce De Donke’s website, Instagram, and Facebook page for more information. Your skin will thank you!"  To read the whole article and review please visit the Seek and Sparkle Beauty Blog here https://www.seekandsparkle.com/will-donkey-milk-make-beautiful/
